Shake Shack Review

Shake Shack LogoBack in March, Nate and I paid a visit the Shack Shack. The burger joint has been a Madison Square Park institution for years and is notorious for its long lines. Recently, a location opened up on the Upper West Side. With great burgers in such close proximity, we knew we had to go! The restaurant itself reminded me of an old-fashioned drive-in, with lots of neon lights and a traditional burgers & fries menu. The burgers were amazing! The beef is ground daily by Shake Shack’s butcher, Pat LaFrieda. Each burger is served on a griddled potato bun with hand-picked lettuce, juicy tomatoes, and classic american cheese. The best burgerYum!

A visit to the Shake Shack isn’t complete without a serving of crinkle-cut fries (lots of ketchup, please!) and a black & white milkshake. Mmmm. Nate and I split the milk shake and fries and it was the perfect amount.Fries & Shake

We visited the shake shack on one of NYC’s first warm days and I just couldn’t resist a small cone from Tasti D Lite to finish off this yummy night of eating.Tasti D-Lite
